For a little physical exercise or a family hike, set off to discover the region’s treasures. The Commune of Saint-Porchaire has updated 14 walking routes throughout the area.
These routes vary in length:
less than 10km (Les Essards, Port d’Envaux, Pont l’Abbé d’Arnoult) 10 to 15km (Trizay, Crazannes/Port d’Envaux, St Sulpice d’Arnoult, Plassay, Saint-Porchaire, Sainte-Gemme, Balanzac/Nancras) Over 15km (Nieul-les-Saintes/Soulignonnes, Romegoux/Geay, La Vallée, Beurlay/Sainte-Radégonde)
These leaflets are available at the tourist information point in the reception area of Trizay Abbey, at the tourist information points in Port d’Envaux and Pont-l’Abbé d’Arnoult and can be downloaded from the link below:
The area is criss-crossed by three cycle routes, making it a great place for cyclists who love nature and heritage, stopping off on the vélodyssée and flow vélo or taking the Roue Blanche circuit.
