Trizay Abbey

Founded at the end of the 11th century and saved from further ruin by a recent restoration program, this priory is one of the most peculiar and interesting due to the quality and uniqueness of Romanesque architecture in the Charente area.
To see : the Romanesque chancel with stained-glass windows of Richard Texier and Kim En Joong, chapter house with ribbed vaulting, undercroft, dorters, cellar, refectory decorated with murals, medieval garden. Modern art exhibition all around the year.

everyday 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 7 pm

25th  September to 12th November :

Monday to Friday 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm 

to 6 pm
